During the first half of the Summer term, the Koalas learnt all about the Ancient Egyptians!  They developed their understanding of chronology by using timelines to represent the passing of time.  They learnt about why the Ancient Egyptian people settled near the River Nile and all about the significant inventions and achievements of the Ancient Egyptians.  In art, the children developed their sculpting skills by shaping clay into a cartouche and incising it with hieroglyphs that spelt their names.  We have been very impressed with all their hard work!
